Q: Is Bretts open to the public?
A: Yes all Bretts Trade stores are open to the public.

Q: Where are Bretts stores located and what time are they open?
A: Use the "Locations" link above and choose your Bretts store.

Q: How can I apply for a Bretts commercial credit account or a Trade cash card account?
A: You can apply online at: Account application.

Q: How can I check my account balance or get copies of my invoices or statements?

Q: What are the available payment methods?
A: There are numerous options for paying:
i. Customers with commercial credit accounts can charge an order directly to their account & pay within terms.
ii. We accept, funds transfer, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, over the phone or in store. If paying your account using credit cards a fee may be applied.
iii. You can pay in person by cash if you are picking up in store or organising a delivery.

Q: How can I request an increased credit limit?
A: All credit limit requests need to be in writing, requested by the business principle/owners. You can email you request to: accounts@bretts.com.au

Q: When will I be charged for my order?
A: Your account or your nominated payment method will be charged when the goods are despatched for delivery or when you pick them up. There may be an exception to this for manufactured goods, especially if anticipated delivery dates are pushed forward. In this case payment or part-payment maybe requested prior to delivery.

Q: When can I get deliveries?
A: Usually the next trading day for goods that are in stock at the time of order. Same day speedy ute deliveries are available if requested for products that are in stock. We will quote lead times for special order products or products which are out of stock.

Q: Can I get first up delivery?
A: You should discuss this with your Bretts Trade team when you place your order.

Q: Can I get a delivery on the Weekend?
A: We do not usually do deliveries on weekends, however there may be exceptions if urgent please check with your local Bretts Trade team when placing your order.

Q: How much will I be charged for delivery?
A: Delivery fees vary depending upon type/volume of product and jobsite location. Bretts Trade team members will calculate the delivery fee when processing your order.

Q: Can I change my order after it has been placed?
A: You will need to contact the store that is fulfilling the order to make any changes to your order.

Q: How can I check the progress of my order?

Q: Will I always receive an order confirmation?
A: If placing an order over the phone, email or in person and need a confirmation please ask your Bretts Trade team member. All orders placed online will automatically generate an order confirmation.

Q: What happens if a product is not in stock at the store I am ordering from?
A: Your order may be despatched from another Bretts Trade store or from our distribution centre. If there is a problem getting the order to you a Bretts Trade team member will call to discuss options.

Q: Where do I send my timber & hardware materials list to for quoting & how long does it take?
A: Your timber & hardware list can be emailed to: sales@bretts.com.au Many quotes are done either the same day or next business day, however please allow 48hrs, if it is to take longer one of our estimators will contact you.

Q: Where do I send my plans to for Frame & Truss quoting & how long does it take?
A: Your plans can be emailed to: manufacturing@bretts.com.au or upload at: Quote Request Please allow up to 10 working days, if it is to take longer one of our estimators will contact you.

Q: Where do I send my plans for Aluminium Windows and Doors to for quoting & how long does it take?
A: Your plans and Door/Window schedule can be emailed to: windowsales@bretts.com.au or upload at: Quote Request Please allow up to 10 working days, if it is to take longer one of our estimators will contact you.

Q: What is the delivery lead time on manufactured goods?
A: Lead times do change from time to time, so best if you call our Frame & Truss factory: 07 3623 0122 or our Windows & Doors factory on: 07 3623 0199.

Q: Who can use the Trade Selection Centre at Windsor?
A: Our Trade Selection centre is a dedicated resource for Builders, Developers, Architects and their clients to use by appointment only.

Q: How do I make an appointment to use this resource?

Q: Do I get the quote returned to me or does my builder receive pricing?
A: In most cases we prefer to provide pricing directly to the Builder.

Q: What do I do if I cannot find a product in store or on line?
A: Many products can be specially ordered, just add the product description in the notes section when placing your online order. Or call our Sales team from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm weekdays on 07 3361 0777 or email: sales@bretts.com.au

Q: How do I find a Department i.e. Frame & Truss or Aluminium Windows & Doors?
A: Select the “Product Range” button above and navigate to any Bretts department for more information.

Q: How do I search for a product online?
A: Once you have signed in select “Browse Categories” navigate to the category to find your product or select “Search Trade Products “ type the products name or select from the categories list.

Q: Who can access the Bretts Online store?
A: Bretts Online Trade store is available to all customers who have an active account with Bretts. This can either be a 30 day Trade account or a Trade Cash Card.

Q: What browsers and devices does Bretts Online work best on?
A: The Bretts Online Trade store has been optimised to work with IE8+, Firefox, Chrome and Safari web browsers and is responsive so will work on mobile phones, tablets, laptops and PC’s.

Q: I have forgotten my password how can I have it re-set?

Q: Is the online price the same as my account price?
A: Yes, The prices shown online are our standard trade prices, for 30 day credit account customers the price will be the same as your standard invoice price.

Q: Does the online price include a delivery fee?
A: No, The prices shown online exclude delivery fees, these will be added to your invoice and will depend upon jobsite location and type/volume of products being delivered.

Q: Will Bretts price match?
A: Yes, whenever possible Bretts Trade will price match any reasonable market price.

Q: How do I download/save the items and prices onto my computer?
A: Select "Show List", then select "Email Quote", this will download your list including product description and your trade price as a .csv file.

Q: How do I open a .csv file?
A: A .csv file can be opened using Microsoft Excel or similar software.

Q: Are prices online including or excluding GST?
A: All prices include GST.

Q: Can I see more details on a product?
A: Some items will have a “details” button linking to more product information, including in some cases specification pdf documents.

Q: Can I create a "Quick Order" online?
A: Yes, build your list of products then select the “Save List” This allows you to recall commonly ordered items next time you visit Bretts online.

Q: What does the “Favourites” button do?
A: The Favourite button lists the last 20 items your ordered.
