Protect vinyl or cork floors against movement.Helping to ensure floorboards are sturdy, long-lasting and eliminate movement, Vinyl and Cork Underlay is a high-quality internal underlay used over timber, plywood or particle board floors to provide a smooth base for laying either vinyl or cork flooring. Ensuring ease of installation, underlay sheets come with a pre-marked nailing pattern which reduces the time the installer has to spend working out where to nail. In addition, it can be nailed with an underlay gun to speed up installation.

Ceramic Tile

Protect floor tiles against movement.A smooth and stable internal underlay for ceramic tile finishes, James Hardie™ Ceramic Tile Underlay helps protect tiles against cracking caused by the movement that occurs naturally in timber, particle board and plywood substrates. Suitable for wet and dry area floors, the pre-sealed coating guards against moisture, helps tile adhesion and slows the glue adhesion time giving tilers more time to achieve a perfect result. Easily installed, it can be quickly gun-nailed with an underlay gun using the pre-marked nailing pattern on the sheet.

HardiePanel is a compressed fibre cement (CFC) sheet for ceramic tile finishes over timber or lightweight steel joists. Used as substrate for tiled balconies and tiled internal wet-area floors, HardiePanel is a durable alternative to particle board and plywood and is resistant to damage from moisture. Strong and resilient, HardiePanel can also be used as formwork in a range of industrial and commercial applications such as bridges and roadworks. Deemed non-combustible in accordance with the provisions of the Building Code of Australia, it can also be used for floors in bushfire prone areas.

Secura External Flooring

Structural flooring for tiled balconies made easy. While Traditional Compressed Fibre Cement (CFC) flooring is dense and a time-consuming installation, Secura™ exterior flooring sheets are lighter with tongue and groove joins. Pre-drilling and screwing is not required as they can be gun nailed, and underside mesh reinforcement provides extra strength and impact resistance. Sealed on all sides with an advanced polymer coating that helps adhesion and guards against moisture-related problems. Secura is great for tiled balconies and verandahs, providing extra peace of mind over particle board and plywood.

Secura Internal Flooring

Internal bathroom or dry area flooring made easy.Scyon Secura interior flooring is a great option for wet areas such as bathrooms, as well as dry areas like bedrooms. Versatile, light and durable, Secura is dual function. While one side is designed for tiled applications and includes a sealant gap, the other side is perfect for vinyl or carpet applications where the tongue and groove joint is gapless. Secura also does away with the need for a vinyl underlay. Secura sheets have a moisture resistant sealer on all sides removing the need for waterproofing outside enclosed shower areas. It can be exposed to the elements for up to 3 months without warping or twisting or requiring sanding. Secura includes tongue and groove joins which can be secured with a nail gun, so there’s no need for pre-drilling and screwing.
